August 2nd – Teacher Appreciation Nite, sponsored by the Smithville Merchants Alliance. At Historic Downtown Smithville. You could get shop discounts, surprises, and goodies!
August 2nd - Cheryl's Beau Bees "Make-Up Date" featuring Tom Duggin. Event starts at 5:30 PM. Cheryl's Beau Bees is located at 108 W. Walnut St., Smithville. Stick around for some great food and music!
August 4th - Back to School Unicorn Photo Session. It is a ten minute session that includes 3 edited digital photos (with option to purchase more). Located at 150 Farwell Rd., Dowelltown.

September TBA – Autumn Street Fair, Downtown Smithville.
September 6th - Nite Time Farmer's Market starting at 5 PM on W. Walnut St. & Smithville Square! Family friendly event has arts, crafts, bread, cookies, veggies, and activities for kids and puppies.
September 7th - Car & Truck Show, 1:30-5 PM, 3005 Blue Springs Rd. For more info, call 615-684-7085.

September 13th - Faces & Places at Arts Garage (118 W. Walnut St.) from 5-7 PM. Appetizers and beverages will be served. Features local artisans (Elkins, Luna, Mayes, and Walker) exploring the faces and places of our world.
